We have used Royal Capet for multiple jobs at my house in Great Falls and my daughter's house in Alexandria and are extremely happy with the product and installation, customer service, and professionalism. We needed new carpet for the bedroom in our unit, and we were referred by friends to work with Rod at Carpet Royale. He was pleasant and easy to work with. The install went great. It was quick and they cleaned up afterwards really well. New carpet feels amazing and the padding they use is really soft under foot. We were referred to Tony via our realtor and have worked with him twice over the past few years, at 2 separate homes, and have been pleased both times. He is very knowledgeable about carpets and his products, responsive, proactive about scheduling, and his prices were competitive. The installer was detailed and respectful, and did a neat job. I had a rude and unprofessional experience with Tony, who I believe is the owner.

I previously bought several boxes of expensive luxury vinyl flooring from this store and was happy with the service from Rod, who was very helpful, professional, and kind. We did not use labor services from this store but thought to in the future for bigger projects.

Because of this positive experience, I reached out to this store again after an accident required me to replace part of the floor I had just installed. I asked for a quote for the replacement work and initially, Tony agreed to provide one. Tony later called me to say he was too busy and asked “why would I waste my time” preparing a quote, assuming I wouldn't use his services. His tone was belittling, dismissive, and patronizing — I genuinely felt he spoke to me this way because I’m a younger woman. He hung up on me and ignored my follow-up messages.

It’s incredibly disappointing to be treated with such disrespect, especially after being a paying customer who had been considering giving the company additional business. I would caution other women to think twice before entering this store. Rod was professional and great to work with, but Tony’s behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
